To us at the Montwood
Family, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us
intellectually, but also guides us spiritually. We believe it and
accept it as God's Word to us, a Book that is alive and relevant to life
today. Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure.
The restoration of man to a healthy relationship with God and each other is the intent of the ministry of the Word. Character, integrity, and respect are values that the teaching of the Word restores. The Montwood Family puts a premium on fresh studies of scripture that emphasize life change and devotion to God. The Family here puts a high premium on children and families. We want to help children of all ages and backgrounds find their way to Jesus. And, we try to assist parents, whether married or single, to love Jesus themselves and train their child in the Lord. We offer classes for all ages, children through adult. We also offer Children's Bible Hour for children ages 3 through 10. there is an attended nursery for infants through 2 years of age. A Training room is available just off the main auditorium for parents who wish to sit in privacy with their small children who may not be used to sitting quietly during the church services. |

Children's Bible Hour!! |
On Sunday morning during worship services, all children from ages 3-10 are invited to attend our Children's Bible Hour. They will experience visits by members of our congregation dressed as Bible characters. Bible study on their level and answers to questions they may have are all part of the Children's Bible Hour experience. Each month our children are encouraged to memorize verses from the Bible. Those who are successful are recognized during services on the 4th Sunday of each month. |
