MCOC Food Pantry


The Montwood Church of Christ Food Pantry was recognized in 2025 as the Volunteer Station of the Year by the City of El Paso Retiree Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) . The food pantry receives donations from church members and local grocery stores, and they serve about 200 families every month. Their distribution is every third Saturday of the month.

Community Food pantry ministry



Montwood is striving to provide our community with food. If you are in need, please call us and leave a message with your name and number and we will get in contact with you


**Preparation Day is on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 0900 am to 11 am.


**Distribution Day is on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 0730 to 1000 am.  (while supplies last).

Duties Include:


  • Preparing Dry & Can good bags
  • Preparing Rice & Beans for distribution
  • Parking Lot setup and traffic control
  • Checking in / Registration processing
  • Some lifting is involved.  If you are not comfortable lifting, we can assign you to a duty that does not require any lifting.

***As of January 2023, the Montwood Food Pantry will no longer be accepting clothing.


***Those individuals that are receiving food MUST provide a valid ID for our registration process.  No photo copies of ID's will be excepted.


*** Only ONE set of food will be provided per household.
